With reference to your letter of the 21st ultimo, No 32612/16, in which you transmitted copy

of a despatch from the Governor of Hong Kong, relative

to the export of Cinematograph Films and Gramophone

Records, I am instructed by the Director of the War

Trade Department to state, for the information of

Mr. Secretary Bonar Law, that this Department concur

in the proposal to approve the Governor's action

in allowing the normal export of the articles in

question to continue.
